What You Will Learn
Itinerary
MAY 7TH: SUNDAY
Day 1: AWAKENING YOUR INNER SHAMAN – THE CONQUERING OF FEAR
You will land at the San Jose, Costa Rica International Airport either the night before or on a same day morning arrival flight. After picking up your bags and a smooth exit through customs you will be escorted to your private plane waiting to take you to paradise. Enjoy the flight over the lush rainforests of Costa Rica soaked in green as you head to the Whale’s coast. Touchdown! Luxury transportation will be provided to whisk you away to our retreat location where Lori will be anxiously awaiting your arrival. After receiving your welcome bag full of esoteric goodies and other surprises, you will take a guided walk through the jungle to your accommodations.
Dinner awaits in the “heart”, the name of the meeting center where you will get to know your fellow travelers and enjoy your first amazing healthy meal. After dinner you will then make your way to a 200 year old Bali home and welcome center where Lori will prepare you for the week’s activities and share all the juicy details of your journey. Here you will find the jaguar altar where you will begin your journey to the origins of you. Placing your intention into your personal Lemurian crystal necklace the magic begins. Before heading off to bed, you will make an offer of jungle flowers to the spirit of the Jaguar altar, and embrace your new partnership with the energies of the jaguar to walk away from fear.
MAY 8TH, MONDAY
Day 2: SHEDDING AND EXTRACTION
Your day begins with an early morning stretch and healing session with Sheila Sheeran. This will get the native juices flowing and begin to support your body's balance and integrity. After a healthy breakfast, class begins and Lori will share the lessons of the jaguar and how we can completely conquer our fears. The four jaguars will channel special messages for each of the participants so that they are aligned with their spiritual partners for change. Lori, with the help of a local indigenous healer will begin an extraction ceremony as you melt into the practice of shamanic healing. Probably the most powerful experience you will have, with intense drumming and vibrational sound beds, you will shake up your cells and release the toxins of a life that you were never aligned with to live. The great mother serpent will support you to shed your skin and peel away the layers of programming so that you can truly feel the real you inside.
After a delicious lunch of exotic ingredients from the jungle, you will make your way to the local waterfall. Covering yourself in the extraction qualities of the local blue mud, you will begin to sense a birthing of what has been hidden inside of you. A release of all that has held you back from becoming the authentic self.
In the afternoon you will attend one of the many different bliss sessions offered to individualize your journey. Spend time with experts on Vibrational Medicine, Quantum Sound Healing Beds, Personal Photo Sessions with our Retreat Photographer, shamanic massages, body work or a jungle walk to find the elusive poison dart frog, Henna treatments, Hair Treatments or Braiding or a NuVision health session with Melisa.
After a scrumptious dinner Lori will share the history and lessons of the Lemurian people and also channel profound messages from their goddesses. You will learn your Lemurian name at that time and begin to embrace your enchanted life of the past. We will then have a dip in the community pool with the sounds of whales piped into underwater speakers with Dr. Vibe. This experience will definitely take you to your inner ocean, ready for sweet dreams and falling asleep to the night time jungle sounds.
MAY 9th TUESDAY – BACK TO NATURE DAY
Day 3: LEAVING THE MATRIX
Wake to a scrumptious breakfast in the morning jungle mist before we head out to our day in nature. A drive down the coast of Costa Rica will include a stop at the famous Whale’s Tail where we will have a morning stretch and walk. We will then continue on to a pristine river trip into the abundance of nature and wildlife in the Osa Peninsula. Venturing into mangrove forests you will be very surprised at HOW MUCH wildlife you will find there. This trip is dripping with the diversity of flora and fauna and is a photographer's dream. The natural beauty here is a chance to go back to a feeling of truly living with nature in this delicately preserved ecosystem. After our tour we will have lunch before we head back to our retreat center.
Our afternoon will be an unforgettable experience where we will take a shamanic journey to Mu to see our past lives as Lemurians and bring back an understanding of our origin that will energize our ascension protocols. We will visit the Lemurian crystal temple where you will recalibrate the rhyme and rhythm of what is sacred within you. This practice has been an over the top moment in previous retreats. With the opportunity to inject sound into the experience you will achieve your highest level of enlightenment with kundalini swirling amongst your Lemurian spiritual team.
Dinner will be served at the Heart.
We will meet at the Bali Villa center where we will learn about plant medicine and lock in the benefits of healing with nature. Real health begins in the jungle so you will be given the plant medicine that most aligns with your awakening process (through NuVision.) This will be your special plant partner so that you can read about the benefits and build a relationship in a sacred ceremony before retiring for the evening.
MAY 10TH: WEDNESDAY
Day 4: FOOD, FLOWERS AND PLANT MEDICINE DAY
After a healthy breakfast and an especially designed yoga class and meditation there will be a class about plants and food and the spiritual integrity of what you eat and your connection with nature. Our speaker will share the spiritual aspects of food and help you to understand a deeper connection to nature and its abundance. We will then make our way to the local farmer’s market where you will search for the most exotic tropical fruits for a tasting later. On the way home, you will take an adventurous ride through the organic farms, valleys and rivers until we arrive at the largest waterfall in Costa Rica called the Diamond Waterfall for some great pictures and back home for lunch.
Tropical Fruit Tasting and Lunch and maybe a Bliss session?
Late afternoon it is time to embrace your new found esoteric elegance as you dress for the spectacular goddess dinner. Lori, invites you to her new Costa Rican home overlooking the famous whale’s tail. Cool breezes and a starry night full of esoteric sounds and crystal vibrations will be the exclamation point to this incredible journey. The daughter of a local shaman (Jazmin) will prepare a LOVE dinner for the group with plant medicines and continue to raise your vibe into the love space. Celebrate your transformation and enjoy the beautiful friendships you have made along the way.
MAY 11TH: THURSDAY
Day 5: FREEDOM AND TRANSFORMATION
Early morning with Sheila will get the vibes flowing for this transformational day. We will have a class about transformation, self care and freedom. This is the day of the new you. We will prepare a new mask that will represent the real you. With your soul tribe you will realize the destruction of a personality that was never aligned with your soul. Here you will create the expression of the person you have always wanted to be. No more feelings of “stuck” as mindfulness takes over and becomes your secret weapon for happiness. Finally you see life through the lens of inspiration and you are maximizing your internal wellness. Celebrate, the fulfillment of the origin of you is complete.
After a healthy lunch we will drive to the local marina and board the 100 foot Brisas Elegante for a refined experience on a luxurious sailboat. Hoisting the sails we will follow the coastline along the Manuel Antonio beach and some exotic islands. Dolphins, turtles, manta rays and sea birds are often seen. We will anchor in a sheltered bay where you can swim, snorkel or lounge in the ocean. Snorkeling? Yes. While you are enjoying your dip in the ocean our chef is preparing a fresh fish dinner with locally grown vegetables. Our voyage will be capped off with a breathtaking sunset over the Pacific ocean and a toast to the new you and the adventure of a lifetime. MAY 12TH: FRIDAY
Day 6: GOING HOME
Your retreat price includes a private charter back to San Jose International Airport. You will take with you a new inner peace and elegance and an unforgettable shine.

THE VENUE
You will be immersed in a 22-acre jungle oasis in Dominical, Costa Rica.
This enchanted mountainside jungle venue is ten minutes from the beach and it is the perfect setting to experience deep healing, embraced by nature, yet completely luxurious.
While staying at Imiloa you will enjoy our nature paths, our private waterfall, our salt-water pool, stunning views and delicious and nutritious meals by our five-star vegan chef.

Included in each accommodation is the comfiest mattresses, 850 thread count sheets, storage space and dry rooms as needed, fiber optic internet, daily cleaning service, private en-suite bath, indoor/outdoor design for every accommodation with a focus on nature and being your private refuge, and full service, thrice-filtered private well for drinking water throughout the property.
BALI VILLAGE
Bali Village is perched 1200 feet about the Pacific Ocean, on a ridge line of flora, fauna and wildlife every direction you look. These 5 accommodations are 160-200 year old homes imported from Bali. Each with their own en suite bathrooms, the homes bring you back and create a self space for rejuvenation and transformation.
BALI MASTER SUITE
200 Year Old Homes from Bali. Imported from the Java Islands, these homes boast outdoor showers, full kitchen access, surreal vista views to the Pacific, their own salt water plunge pools and hand-carved art that is as old as the houses.
JOGOLO HOUSE
Perched on the edge of the cliff, at the furthest end of the property, sits a 170 year old home from the Java Islands we call Jogolo. Complete with a writer’s desk, outdoor Balinese shower, hand-carved architecture that will transport you to another land and time, Jogolo is teeming with history and comfort. Your cold plunge pool is adjacent to a warm bath, both outdoor. Full kitchen, too.
POTOO HOUSE
This two-floor imported home from Bali will have you wishing you’d never leave. Complete with a King Bed and a twin in the corner of the 180 year old home, Potoo has modern luxury with 360 views of the Pacific. On the lower level, a plunge pool and private spa. Potoo also includes many outdoor chairs, hammocks and a full kitchen, too.
BUNGALOW HILL
Six Jungle Bungalows built on the side of the mountain on the pathway to our very own private waterfall. Bali inspired, the interiors feature natural finishings and a gorgeous exposed shower and bath tub.
DOMELAND
Six Buckminster Fuller inspired Geodesic River Domes, among the best made in the world and partially powered by solar energy, sit perched on the edge of our private river with the fresh, flowing water feeding up to the domes. Experience the soothing sounds of relaxing and sleeping next to flowing water. Amazing!
THE HOUSE OF MASTERS
The House of Masters, located in the center of the property, is a 2,000 square foot Balinese structure hanging 100 feet in the Jungle canopy. Adjacent are restrooms and a yoga storage room for mats, blocks and more. The space can be converted for any type of retreat, workshop or dance party.
THE HEART OF IMILOA
A sprawling 3,000 square foot space that is the “Heart of Imiloa,” our social space features loungy, multicultural inspired furnishings, couches, and 5 imported tables from Bali, all under a Polynesian style roof.
THE PATHS
Jungle paths connect the 20+ acres at Imiloa, with hand-made stairs and lighting, creating an immersive, easy experience for you and guests.
THE WATERFALL
Beyond the Jungle Bungalows is a path that leads to our own private waterfall. Descend into what feels like an enchanted jungle forest as you bask in the magic and beauty of the surrounding nature.

Imiloa’s world-class spa is a curated, sensual and deeply moving experience. Choose from Ayurvedic massages and practices, to a shamanic masseuse from our team members who are from the Boruca indigenous tribe here in Costa Rica, to more traditional Swedish, relaxation or Thai yoga massages, body wraps and others. A full list of spa offerings and a link to book during your free time will be provided to you before you arrival.
LUXURY TRANSPORTATION
- Schedule your plane to arrive at SJO. In order to access your private plane charter, all guests must be at the Domestic Terminal at SJO San Jose, Costa Rica no later than 3PM on the arrival day.
- Once landed, proceed to customs and instructions will be provided to meet Imiloa concierge.
- Proceed to baggage claim with concierge and proceed to Domestic Terminal (3 minute walk from International Terminal). Please be at the Domesitc Terminal at SJO San Jose, Costa Rica no later than 3PM on your day of arrival.
- Private Imiloa plane will be waiting to fly you to Quepos.
- Private ground transport shuttles will pick you up in Quepos and bring you to Imiloa.
- If you are already in Costa Rica, ground transport may be coordinated from Quepos, Dominical or Uvita as inclusive.
- Please do not plan to drive to Imiloa on your own. It is not permitted.
- If you need to arrive the day before, please stay at the Hampton Inn across from the airport, or plan to be in the San Jose Domestic Terminal for private flight to Imiloa by no later than 3PM (instructions will be emailed).
- You will depart Imiloa at 9AM, and arrive at the landing strip at 9:30AM, with an estimated arrival to SJO airport at 10:30AM. The domestic terminal is a 5-10 minute walk to the international terminal at SJO. Typically, it is suggested to be at the international terminal 2.5 hours prior to your international departure. Please book your departing international flight accordingly, knowing that you will be at the airport at 10:30AM on departure day.

Location
Imiloa is located in the jungle, at the top of a mountain, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our lush retreat center is located adjacent to the second most biodiverse land on the planet.
Dominical, only 13 minutes away, is a beach town with surfer vibes, great coffee and plenty of shopping. Just north of our municipality is Quepos and to the south, Ojochal and Uvita, which is known as the Whale’s Tail.
Just 45 minutes east sits Costa Rica’s second largest city, San Isidro. Within an hour of Imiloa in all directions, you have access to airports, cafes, beaches, waterfalls, biodiversity and happy people ready to show you the lush, lovely area we call home.
You’ll arrive easily on our private plane, and your group will enjoy unlimited transportation to and from the beach, to and from the airport and throughout your stay with us.
